This tutorial shows the abilities found in EMS to solve AC magnetic problems coupled with thermal analysis. The subjects of interest are the magnetic flux density and the temperature distribution of this three-phase transformer. The first half of the tutorial focuses on the input and preprocessing phase.

Liebert NXL UPS Witness Test: Power Fault Tripping & Transfer

In the spring of 2009, Emerson Network Power invited groups of consulting-specifying engineers from around the country to the Liebert Adaptive Power Witness Test Center in Delaware, Ohio for an introductory demonstration of the new Liebert NXL 750 kVA UPS. Under the direction of the participating engineers, Emerson Network Power technicians ran a variety of tests on the Liebert NXL single-module units and units configured into a large multi-module system. In this test, a technician will trip the output of one module while in redundant operation.
