PTU B.Tech EE 5th Electromagnetic Field Theory Exam - Download Previous Years Question Papers

n the 5th Semester of B. Tech, Electrical Engineering streams of PTU, there is existence of Electromagnetic Field Theory papers. Which divided into two parts, one relates to the class work of the students, that carries 50 marks and another one includes Exam papers of full 100 marks. However, the entire parts have five different Units, starting from Unit 1 to Unit 5. The various topics which are covered in these units are as follows:

Unit 1: Static Electric Fields
Unit 2: Steady Magnetic Fields
Unit 3: Time Varying Fields
Unit 4: Reflection as well as Refraction of E M Waves
Unit 5: Transmission Theory

The paper is totally about the circuits of semi conductor devices that we are in touch daily. The paper is descriptive and consists of 7 questions out of which the very first is compulsory. Four questions need to be answered from the rest of the questions. The candidates are allotted three hours for answering the papers. Most of the questions are diagrammatic. Each question consists of sub questions and within a question all sub questions have to be answered.

The Mumbai University BE in Electronics and Telecommunication 4th Semester Electronic Devices and Circuits-II Papers are said to be one of the most important paper of the trade Electronics and telecommunication. The theory question paper is of 100 marks. The paper has all together 7 questions. Each question is of 20 marks and the candidates are asked to answer only 5. However, one should answer one question from each section. This means three questions will be from the three respective sections of the paper. Remaining two questions can be from any section of the paper. The time duration for solving the paper is 3 hours only.
