CALL FOR PAPERS
The 11th Brazilian Power Electronics Conference (COBEP\'2011) is being organized by the Brazilian Power Electronics Society (SOBRAEP) and by the Universidade Federal de Rio Grande do Norte – UFRN. The congress will take place in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, from September 11th to 14th 2011. The aim of this conference is to provide a forum for the discussion for Brazilian and Foreign experts in the Power Electronics area, featuring strong participation of industry and academia.

The digest should be submitted to one of the topics listed below:

3. AC/DC converters and power factor correction;
4. Electric machines, motor drives and motion control;
5. Control theory applied to power electronics systems;
6. Computer-aided modeling, analysis, design and synthesis of power electronics systems;
7. Digital control applications with Microcontrollers,
8. DSP and FPGA;
9. Power quality, harmonics and reactive power compensation, electromagnetic compatibility
10. (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI);
11. Power electronics in generation, transmission and distribution power systems and renewable power systems;
12. Power semiconductor devices, passive components and magnetism;
13. Integration, packaging and modules;
14. Electronics ballast for lighting;
15. Automotive, aerospace, transportation and utility applications of power electronics;
16. Energy storage;
17. Energy conditioning and
18. Education in power electronics.
