This paper the design and analysis of a PWM inverter type automatic voltage regulator (AVR ) involving hardware,software and the control system wich are described in paper elaborately.
The proposed AVR consist of a dc/ac inverter with reversible voltage control and a transformer for series voltage compensation.

POWER ELECTRONICS EUROPE 2009-2010


Power Electronics Europe has sponsored and will hand over for the
second time the Best Paper Award at the PCIM 2009 opening
ceremony. The awardee will be invited to participate at PCIM China
2010, including flight and accomodation.
The best paper has been selected by the PCIM Conference
directors and the winner is Benjamin Sahan from the University of
Kassel (Germany) with the paper ‘Photovoltaic converter topologies
suitable for SiC-JFETs’.
