Строительство МКС продолжается. В «ГКНПЦ им. М.В.Хруничева» испытывают новый Многофункциональный Лабораторный Модуль - «Наука». В модуле есть каюта для отдыха космонавтов, санузел и огромный иллюминатор для наблюдения за Землей. Тринадцать метров в длину, 5 -- в диаметре. Поднять такую 25-тонную конструкцию в космос под силу только российской ракете «Протон». По мнению специалистов, МЛМ станет одной из лучших научных площадок на орбите. На испытания отведен год. Старт к МКС намечен на 2012-й.
