Three-phase Inverter Using Multiple-States Switching Cell Applied in Grid Connected Wind Power Conversion Systems Daniel, Flores Cortez, Power Electronics Institute, Brazil, daniel.cortezflores@inep.ufsc.br Ivo, Barbi, Power Electronics Institute, Brazil, ivobarbi@inep.ufsc.br Abstract This work presents a bidirectional three-phase topology to be applied in grid connected wind energy conversion systems. The main features of this converter are the sharing currents on the power switches, the use of magnetic coupling of inductors and frequency multiplication on the filters. The proposed control system aims to control the phase currents and DC link voltage through a digital signal controller. Theoretical studies are presented concerning the application. Experimental results are also shown by constructing a prototype 14kVA.
