RESUMO
IJUIM, Filipe K. Configuração de Controlador Digital de Sinais Aplicado a Conversores Chaveados Utilizando a Ferramenta PSIM/SimCoder. 2014. TCC (Bacharelado em Engenharia Elétrica – Área: Eletrônica e Microprocessadores) – Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina, Joinville, 2014.

Este trabalho de conclusão de curso apresenta o estudo de elementos do software de simulação PSIM®, utilizados para geração de códigos em linguagem C. Os blocos do SimCoder podem ser configurados e utilizados em simulações de conversores chaveados. O código gerado pode ser importado para o programa Code Composer Studio v5.1, sem que sejam feitas modificações ou adequações no código. O SimCoder apresenta estes blocos para implementação de controle digital para um Controlador Digital de Sinais (DSC) da Texas Instruments, o TMS320F28335, um controlador de ponto flutuante. Utilizando os blocos do SimCoder podem ser configuradas as saídas de PWM, as entradas analógicas, a entradas e saídas digitais, entre outras opções encontradas no DSC. Após o estudo de conversores chaveados, são realizadas simulações com os blocos mencionados, gerados os códigos e realizados testes com o DSC e com o NPCm, um conversor bidirecional de três níveis. Por fim são apresentados os resultados obtidos experimentalmente, apresentando as formas de ondas do DSC e do conversor utilizado, verificando o funcionamento dos códigos gerados.

 Abstract: 
In this paper we will present a power supply – three phase AC/DC converter – with special requirements for power factor and dimensions. Development of such compact devices – up to 8cm3 – provides possibility for mass production of electronic subsystems intended to be implemented within the low voltage grid, reducing emission of higher harmonics (up to 40th) in the power grid and achieving maximal efficiency. Indirectly, this concept enables control of electric energy consumption of small loads. Development of power supply following these characteristics is significant for all producers of electronic equipment compatible with IEC-1000-3 standard. Keywords: power supply, power factor

Abstract
 In this paper the performance of Nanocrystalline material in comparison with ferrite is evaluated for a high frequency high power transformer core application. The major advantage of Nanocrystalline material over ferrite is its ability to go for higher design flux densities. However, this is limited with increased losses occurring with the increase of operating frequency. The situation is studied for a 40kW, 20 kHz application. Samples of both versions are developed and a performance evaluation is made on the application. Based on the practical outcome a comparison is made in terms of power density per physical parameters such as weight and volume. The cost and manufacturability are also discussed.

The rising energy costs and carbon footprint of operating cellular networks have led to a trend in addressing energy-efficiency amongst the network operators and regulatory bodies such as 3GPP and ITU. "Greening" the wireless networks is a vast research discipline that needs to cover all the layers of the protocol stack and various system architectures and it is important to identify the fundamental trade-offs linked with energy efficiency and the overall performance. In this talk, we identify four important aspects of a green networking where we would like to focus: defining green metrics, bringing architectural changes in base stations, network planning, and efficient system design. We begin with a brief discussion on energy efficiency metrics. Since Base Stations (BSs) consume a major chunk of input energy, we discuss the energy efficiency of BSs. Next we discuss energy efficiency from a network planning perspective, based on smaller cells for heterogeneous networks. For system design, we put a special emphasis on cognitive and cooperative techniques in order to realize energy efficient cellular systems. Finally we discuss some broader perspectives and possible future trends in realizing a green cellular network technology.

 Abstract
In this thesis, a new scheme of current programmed control for three phase PWM AC-AC converter is proposed. Compared to duty-ratio voltage control, current programmed control has several advantages such as reduction of system order, inherent current protection and robust output. By considering only the magnitude components, a similar scheme in the DC-DC converter can be extended to the three phase PWM AC-AC converter. The proposed current programmed control will be well adopted into various converter topologies and three phase PWM AC-AC buck, boost and buck-boost converter are treated. The converter analysis is carried out by applying the vector DQ transformation to obtain physical insight into the converter operation and to establish some important characteristic equations for control purpose. The experiment results show the validity of the proposed scheme.
