Improving the performance and reliability of transformers, which are vital to minimizing these losses, has great potential value. Multiphysics simulation enables accurate transformer and inductor design by accounting for coupled electrical and thermal effects, such as Joule heating. This webinar will introduce techniques for modeling inductive couplings and will demonstrate the simulation of a transformer in COMSOL Multiphysics. The presentation will also include a Q&A session.
